Elephant
TakaraAdminThe history of the use of elephant hides goes back a long way. The elephant hide has been used to chairs, desk top covering, book bindings, bags, attaché cases, belts, special small leather goods, in European countries as luxury items. Its hide is extremely strong and durable with special texture of leather gives a very unique products.
We have been handling this unique leather since 1970 originally from the tannery in England and thereafter directly from Southern African countries with interval of 10 years during international trade ban. And, today we are getting hides originally supplied from National Parks of Zimbabwe and South Africa for a limited quantity but able to secure constant supply.
